Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State conducted the inauguration of three key officials within his administration on Friday. Prof. Mamman Saba Jibril was reinstated as the Secretary to the State Government, marking his return to the role.
In a development reported by DAILY POST, Prince Abdulkadir Aliyu Mahe, who had previously held the position of Secretary to the State Government until Friday, was sworn in as the new Chief of Staff (CoS).
Similarly, Barrister Murtala Sambo assumed his responsibilities as the Special Adviser on Legal Matters, a role he had held until the end of the last administration on May 29, 2023.
Governor Abdulrazaq encouraged these new officials to prioritize the welfare of the people in the execution of their official duties. He emphasized the substantial challenges that lie ahead and urged them to operate with transparency and loyalty, guided solely by the public’s interest.
He expressed the aspiration to leave behind a legacy of improved well-being for the populace, particularly in terms of human capital development. Kwara State had already become a noteworthy benchmark in various positive aspects, and the goal is to surpass these accomplishments.
Governor Abdulrazaq emphasized the importance of considering the prevailing economic constraints in the nation and called upon the senior government officials to efficiently coordinate government activities and maintain harmonious relations between the government and the people.
