The Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is set to hold an international press conference on November 6, as announced in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the LP, Obiora Ifoh, on Monday.
According to the statement, “His Excellency Peter Obi will be delivering a World Press Conference scheduled for 2 pm today at the Campaign Headquarters.”
This marks Peter Obi’s first formal media briefing following his recent defeat at the Supreme Court. The event comes one week after his campaign spokesperson, Yunusa Tanko, refuted rumors that Obi was in hiding after the Supreme Court’s ruling.
Tanko informed our correspondent that the LP candidate had already left the country before receiving the court’s notification. He also indicated that once he returns to the country, the party’s presidential flag bearer will address the Nigerian people.
