Mauricio Pochettino, the Chelsea manager, has said that achieving their desired level will require a two-year effort. The team has only managed to win one of their initial six Premier League matches this season, marking their worst start in 45 years. This has placed significant pressure on Pochettino, despite his relatively short tenure at Stamford Bridge.
Upon his arrival, Pochettino entered into a two-year contract. When asked about the timeline for his project’s success in light of this contract duration, he conveyed to Sky Sports, “Two years? I believe I understand this perspective because the owners and sporting director have clarified that it revolves around mutual satisfaction.
We are focused on our work, and the contract length, be it two years, five years, or even ten years, is not the primary concern. What truly matters is being a part of the right project and having them recognize us as the suitable individuals to steer this endeavor.”
