Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State, speaking during a media interview in Abuja, stated that his government has identified certain traditional leaders who are allegedly assisting bandits. He emphasized that his administration is actively working to combat criminal activities and clarified that he will not engage in negotiations with bandits or criminals.
“In the current situation, we have pinpointed specific traditional rulers who are allegedly involved, and they are currently undergoing investigation. We are not sparing anyone, including my commissioners or anyone found participating in criminal activities,” Radda affirmed.
The governor expressed his dismay over the continuous attacks on the state’s residents and shared that his government is committed to addressing this problem.
“We are making concerted efforts to gather substantial information, combining it with intelligence from the Department of State Services (DSS), to apprehend and prosecute those who are found guilty,” he added.
