President Bola Tinubu has officially endorsed the 2023 supplementary budget of N2.17 trillion, which has now become law. This approval took place on Wednesday, as President Tinubu signed the supplementary appropriations bill at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Previously, the Senate had passed the N2.18 trillion 2023 Supplementary Appropriation Bill, which was submitted for consideration by President Bola Tinubu. Following Tinubu’s request, which was communicated in a letter during a Senate plenary session on Tuesday, the request was promptly and efficiently reviewed.
Similarly, on Thursday, the Senate swiftly granted its approval for the budget after the report was presented in the chamber by Solomon Adeola, the Chairman of the Senate Committee of Appropriations.
