What defender, Antonio Rudiger told the Blues’ fan after his side’s 6-0 defeat by Manchester City has surfaced.

Goals from Sergio Aguero (3), Raheem Sterling (2) and Iikay Gundogan (1) gave Pep Guardiola’s men all three points against Chelsea at Etihad.

Rudiger was involved in a heated confrontation with a Chelsea fan after Man City defeated Maurizio Sarri’s side on Sunday.

According to Football London, a Blues’ fan, who was not impressed with Chelsea’s performance against City, was seen abusing Rudiger and his teammates after the game.

The report claimed that the Germany international told the Chelsea fan that he was sorry about their humiliating defeat.

“I’ve come over to say sorry, stand in front of me if you’ve something to say,” Rudiger said.

Rudiger will hope to lead Chelsea to victory when they tackle Malmo on Thursday in the Europa League round of 32 first leg tie.
